Join Lee Bey as he gives a tour of his exhibit, Chicago: A Southern Exposure.
The work of architecture photographer, critic and South Side resident Lee Bey, Chicago: A Southern Exposure, is the first major show devoted to South Side architecture.
This photographic exhibit examines the wealth of unique and high-quality architecture on the city’s South Side; places that have been overlooked and undocumented due to racism, classism and preconceived notions about the area. Chicago: A Southern Exposure features the work of pioneering Black architects such as John Moutoussamy, Ryder, Morrison and Margerum, and other luminaries such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies van der Rohe, and Eero Saarinen.
This exhibit is organized by Clinée Hedspeth
