Join Friends for ERA in Illinois, The League of Women Voters of Evanston, IL and Sierra Club for a free screening of “Equal Means Equal.” This award-winning documentary sheds light on the urgent need to pass the Equal Rights Amendment.
If two more states ratify the ERA, it will explicitly enshrine women’s rights in the Constitution for the first time. And Illinois has the chance to be one of those states!
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, IL Sen. Heather Steans, IL Rep. Lou Lang, Valerie Krejcie of the LWV Evanston, and Illinois National Organization for Women President Michelle Fadeley.
