Spencer Hutchinson: Sound/Not-Sound

A survey of recent visual work of Chicago artist Spencer Hutchinson that approaches painting, drawing and sculpture in a context informed by sound. The works seek not to be directly related to sound as such but are informed by a practice in which active listening is employed as a creative strategy in visual art making.

The show will feature live sound based performances by KG Price, Anthony Janas and others.
