Trans Beach Party 2017:

PART 2

Get Your Pride! is a public, loving and affirming gathering for all trans people to gather and be our true selves, while reclaiming a space that has historically been hostile to trans bodies. We are holding this celebration in June this year in order to make space during LGBT Pride Month for trans and GNC bodies, and to actively combat the gentrification and CisGayYt-domination of traditional Spaces.

We will bask in the power and love of Sylvia Rivera, Marsha P. Johnson, and all of our Trancestors while we celebrate the beauty, diversity, love, and strength of our community together… on a beach!! Come get your pride!!

Location: Rainbow Beach—-look for the trans pride flags!!

Time: 10AM-5PM
******** 10AM-12PM are FAMILY HOURS for trans children and youth to come and participate in the beach party!! All are welcome the entire event, but please be aware that for the first two hours, we want to keep the environment friendly for children*******

What to bring: your coolers, chairs, beach wear & any trans pride flags or other visibility is welcome but not required! If you would like to contribute a donation toward refreshments please contact the Trans Liberation Collective; You can also just bring food, drink, or ice to contribute!
