Yasi Ghanbari will talk about her video pieces and discuss her path to becoming an artist, having grown up with an Iranian dad and an American mother. She will chat with Anita Alkhas, also the daughter of an Iranian-American couple (SAIC alumni Hannibal Alkhas and Audrey Larson), who will share her experiences growing up in an artistic environment in the U.S. and Iran. The panel will be moderated by Kimia Maleki and followed by a performance by Yasi Ghanbari.
