There are more ways for creative people to make and share their work than ever before. This creates incredible opportunities for writers and artists to do things their own way instead of compromising their vision or dealing with traditional gatekeepers. But DIY comes with its own challenges and pitfalls.

Margot Atwell, the Director of Publishing at Kickstarter, will be joined by a diverse group of creative leaders to discuss the perils and pleasures of making things in your own way. The audience is invited to participate in the round-table discussion.
