Please join us for the opening night of our new monthly program, Galactic Pinwheel Reading Series! Our good friend and talented poet, Beyza Ozer, will be inviting readers from the vibrant Chicago lit and poetry communities each month.
This month’s readers will be Alexis Pope, Katie Burke, and Sung Yim!
Alexis Pope is the author of That Which Comes After (Big Lucks Books, forthcoming 2017), as well as a chapbook, Debt (Madhouse, 2017). Work has appeared in Denver Quarterly, Hobart, Poor Claudia, The Volta, and West Branch, among others. Pope lives in Chicago.
Katie Burke is a writer living in Chicago and she is trying her best. She is the social media coordinator for Lettered Streets Press and her work can be found in Alien Mouth, The Fanzine, Witch Craft Magazine, and others.
Sung Yim is a bilingual South Korean immigrant living in Illinois. Their essays and poems have appeared in The James Franco Review, Contrary, Kweli, Crab Fat Magazine, and in a chapbook from Ghost City Press.
