Caroline Kent and Dan Rizzo-Orr: Midnight Sun
@ Triumph
2055 W Cermak Rd, Chicago, IL 60608
Opening Saturday, August 5th, from 6PM - 10PM
The sun stands still, refuses its unavoidable diffusion, in our minds, to darkness. It stands, while pressing on and illuminating, pushing our noon towards our midnight.
;our time has neither passed nor has arrived.
In return they shoot the clock, and refuse to be enlightened. They defer the soul and body from being be sundered, and thought and sight of being cleared.
They make a darkened space. In it, you, as a visitor, cannot easily grasp a thing. It is a traversed dimensionality that moves by ways of a perspective in inversion. It transgresses history as linearity and language as to be consumed.
