The IAP (Independent Artists Party) is a group of multi faceted and inter disciplinary artists that are organized as a voting political party that writes legislators and mediates local politics for the arts and collects signatures at events held by a group of selected artists from a pool that also acts as an artist Union of sorts.

This first event would feature art hung on trees and live music and dance and film performances in the park.

The goal is to have as many signatures as possible go to Washington and Congress to reverse the attack on art.
