Soundrotation in conjunction with Brain Trust Management and Arts & Public Life presents the fourth installment of The Rear View Mirror Listening Session and Lecture Series with Duane E Powell.

The Rear View Mirror Sessions is a series of lectures and listening sessions which focus on influential unsung artists and legends and how they influence music today. The program will provide insight into artists who influenced Chicago and beyond by exploring their lives through history and their music.

For the fourth installment, we will go deep into the rich history and colorful life of Chicago’s Queen Of Soul, Chaka Khan. Her struggles as a free spirit on the streets of Chicago’s south side, her activism, her music and her road to becoming one of the most influential singers of all time.
