Jun 3rd 2017

The Free School, a project of Chicago Reading Africa, is motivated by the belief that communal reading is critical reading. We utilize essays, fiction, poetry and visual arts by black artists to engage social ideas most relevant to Black life. In this session, our facilitator, Nina Yeboah will lead us through reading and writing activities that will engage us in a conversation about the unique precarity of Black life in the Americas.

This class is intended for adults and youth 16+. Please bring your own notebook and a writing utensil. To ensure accessible accommodations, please email info@comfortstationlogansquare.org

**Suggested Donation: $5 – $15. Your donation helps to fund the P.O.W.E.R. Project Grant. Reserve your spot ahead of time: http://bit.ly/2r1ieqW No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.**
