Have you been to Silent Funny? If not, now’s the chance to visit one of Chicago’s most dynamic and creative art spaces for their first ever Open House. A variety of Silent Funny “alumni” artists will perform and feature new works. Also on display at the West Humboldt Park space will be permanent works by Luftwerk, Dont Fret, Juan De La Mora, Mr. Rios and Titus Wonsey. Beverages and snacks provided.

Silent Funny is a 501(c)3 non-profit arts space in Chicago’s West Humboldt Park neighborhood that believes everyone can have life-changing experiences with the arts. It’s mission is to create a haven where art, artists and everyday people connect in a contemporary and active space that’s open to all. Founded by educator and musician Matt Baron and artist Daniel Schor in 2015, the space has been featured in Chicago Reader, Social Justice News Nexus (SJNN), DNA Info and “1,001 Chicago Afternoons” and is available for commercial rental use.
