Come celebrate what the City Bureau crew has been up to this spring! Our reporting fellows have been working with Curious City journalists to explore segregation in Chicago, getting to know African immigrant communities on the South Side and reimagining the industrial West Side. We’ve also partnered with Free Spirit Media throughout the fellowship cycle to mentor some of the city’s upcoming mediamakers and civic leaders.
Stop by our #PublicNewsroom for a chance to give feedback on our work before it’s published, discover ways to collaborate with City Bureau and enjoy some refreshments.
The evening’s agenda:
6:00 – 6:30pm: Mingle and enjoy some food and drinks
6:30 – 7:00pm: Hear presentations from our reporting teams
7:00 – 7:45pm: Visit our open house stations to dive deeper into our work
7:45 – 8:00pm: Closing remarks
