Born 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Bubash apprenticed as a tattoo artist with Thom DeVita in NYC 1970 – 1975 and has tattoos to this day – Refer to the VICE Media series: “Tattoo Age” episode 8: DeVita
He was educated in the fine arts with an emphasis on sculpture and graphics at The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) in Philadelphia 1983 – 1989
Bubash works in all mediums including pencil, paint, printing, skin clay / bronze, assemblage and more. He has shown in galleries and museums all over the country for 40 years and is included
in numerous private, public and Museum collections.
His work was last seen in the “Tattooed New York” show, held at the NY Historical Society in NYC. March – May 2017.
