Hear from Jason Foumberg, contributing art critic for Chicago Magazine, on how writing about art can empower your art practice and career. An info-session on his upcoming class for the Visual Arts Certificate Program (VACP) with Hyde Park Art Center and UChicago will follow this free event. The VACP is designed to help emerging and mid-career artists access practical information and resources that allow them to enhance the success of their current artistic practice.
