Please join us this Sunday, February 26th, 2017 for Beauty Breaks: Session 9 | Mark Making. We will be deepening our connections to words and movement in the attic space of F4F (2846 W.21st Street Chicago, IL).

Workshops + Performances by:

Gabrielle Civil (visiting from New York), Haydee Souffrant and Imani Jackson.

Please join us for tea, snacks and chat at 2pm. Doors close at 2:30pm.

Opening meditation starts promptly at 2:30pm, followed by light yoga, reading of a memoir accompanied with writing, and art performed through the body. Please wear clothing you feel comfortable moving in.

Beauty Breaks workshop series, founded by artist Amina Ross and co-led with artist AJ McClenon, brings together beauty and wellness practitioners to break open what black beauty and wellness means today. These workshop center BLACK femininities and are FREE and open to the public.
