Temporary Holdings is an exhibition of new works from Daniel Delgado, Steven Ford, Bing Bai, Vera Benschop, Colton Witt, Alissa Godina, Sarah Pletcher, Ryan Bouchard, and Katharine Hannah. On display for two nights only, the exhibit showcases art working through photography, installation, textiles, and performance, the transient nature of shared experiences is captured.
The cycles of life, reactionary gestures to a political establishment in power, family members communicating through distance and aging, the loss of loved ones and the renewal of shared love, or finding a space to claim as your own in foreign cities or places closer to home. Holding onto what we care for most, the significant moments that we want to preserve in fear of forgetting, only to be replaced or lost soon after.
