MCA Studio: The Longest Night
@ Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago
220 E. Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60611
Opening Tuesday, December 20th, from 6PM - 8PM
Celebrate the astronomical phenomenon that marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year with The Adler Planetarium astronomers for a special presentation of Scopes in the City on the MCA’s Ann and John Kern Terrace, weather permitting. Then come inside to have your tarot cards read by Laughing Eye, Weeping Eye, and the MCA’s own Grace Deveney.
In the event of cloudy skies or other inclement weather, guests are invited to Sort the Universe! Create your own groupings of various astronomy photos and share pictures of your groupings using the hashtag #ScopesIntheCity.
**This event is free with museum admission, and Tuesdays are always free for Illinois residents.**
