Russian intervention in Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea have changed the security environment in Europe. Not only did these events show that the European Union’s policy towards Eastern Europe had to be redesigned, but they also proved that many years of mutual efforts to build trust, transparency and peaceful space between Russia and the EU had failed, and the need to find a peaceful resolution is crucial. A panel of local community experts will describe different aspects of the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
