Ryan Nault, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan is a painter. He attended The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, until dropping out. He finished at the The School of the Art Institute(2013). Nault paints psychologically jarring scenes of crowds with his odd use of color, and peculiar paint application. The compositions are drawn from memories and pulled through his dreams as well. He has shown at Faber & Faber, Breeze Block Gallery and Peregrine Program.
Brad Stumpf was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked on a dairy farm until attending and graduating from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2015). Stumpf paints interior landscapes, often homes of family and friends. His paintings focus on the the minute clutter that create the spaces that we live in, transformed into quirky marks becoming the spaces we occupy. This is Stumpf’s first dual-person exhibition.
Fat City is an artist commune located in Bridgeport.
