Jungyul Yu, a painter, photographer, and multi-media artist talks about her exhibit “Landscapes In My Mind” (10/28 – 11/30/2016). She has had several solo exhibits and participated in group shows both in the U.S. and South Korea. She received a Community Arts Assistance Program grant from the City of Chicago in 2009 and the grand prize at the Modern Wing Photo Contest sponsored by The Art Institute of Chicago and NBC5. Landscapes In My Mind includes her recent paintings with quiet compositions produced since she moved to Chicago.
