DIY Workshop with David Philpot

Opening Saturday, October 15th, from 1PM - 5PM

Detroit-based artist David Philpot, formerly of Chicago and maker of intricately hand carved and embellished staffs, will lead this special hands-on workshop. Participants will be able to embellish an item they bring or be inspired by David’s staffs to create a miniature staff or ping pong paddle. All “embellishment” materials are included but, if you have favorite jewelry items that are broke or in need of being re-purposed, bring them to be incorporated into your piece. Please join us for what will be a journey in art making!
