We are thrilled to open our newest solo exhibition by Chicago veteran artist, George Klauba, on Friday, August 26th at 6 p.m. The exhibition features two series of paintings, “Nerves on Fire: Reflections on WWII,” and “Cuba: Rebels, Orishas, and 26 Julio” which are derived from Klauba’s experience growing up during WWII, and later spending a month in Cuba during the Revolution while serving in the Navy. Join us for light refreshments, keynote speeches by NVAM Executive Director, Brendan Foster, and artist, George Klauba, and of course fantastic world-class veteran art!
