Alberto Aguilar reminds us that we are always making something. Using wall painting, photographs, drawings, and ephemera, he transforms the “residue of certain life activities”—such as teaching, family, and exchange with others—into art.

Alberto Aguilar is the artist-in-residence for 2015-16. The residency is sponsored by the Jim and Rita Knox Endowment Fund for Museum Education.
