This exhibition explores alternative art exchange and sales strategies that support artists and collectors, and expose the loss of artist agency and intervention in the marketplace.
Artists and gallerists are excited to show art, but need money to survive. Join us for an exhibition centered on barter, bidding, and dialogue that empower artists and gallery goers to make choices about the sales process. Featuring artists John Behnke, Sonia Cheng, Marcellus Eli, Carlos Daniel Esparza Saucedo, Ken Hirte, Duk Ju L Kim, Marcellous Lovelace, Antonio Martinez, Katherine Perryman, Al Pocius, Mike Pocius, Jeremy Steffen, and Melody Williams.
