May 15th 2015

In partnership with the Chicago Loop Alliance, Johalla Projects returns in 2015 to the Sullivan Center Alleyway to present ACTIVATE: NIGHTBLOOM, a new installation exploring the dynamic relationship between light and dark. Artists will respond to this eternal theme through a recreation of the night sky, vibrant floral installations, murals inspired by botanical nightshade illustrations, and other portrayals.

Participating artists include Jeffrey Michael Austin, Elizabeth Cronin of Asrai Garden, Heather Gabel, Andrea Jablonski, Johnny Decker Miller, Lauren Payne, Suzy Poling, and Charles E. Roberts III.

The event is free and open to the public. Beverages will available for purchase.
RSVP at http://loopchicago.com/activate/rsvp for a free drink ticket.
