Make Room

@ The Silver Room

1442 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago IL 60622

Opening Friday, February 13th, from 6PM - 10PM

On view through Saturday, February 28th

Elephant Room gallery is pleased to be partnering with Eric Williams and the Silver Room in the presentation of a group exhibition of prolific Chicago artists.

“Make Room” co-curated by Stuart Hall and Kimberly L. Atwood, will feature the works of artists Lindsey Claire Newman, Abraham, Keelan McMorrow, Chantala Kommanivanh, Sentrock, Lewis Graham Taylor (YAMS), and Christie Chew-Wallace.

This exciting exhibition brings together the works of these diverse, contemporary artists to Wicker Park’s vibrant arts community. With styles ranging from bold strokes and bright colors to delicate mixed-media arrangements, this exhibition will offer an opportunity to view works in unique juxtapositions that are united by a common undercurrent of urban influence and personal narrative.

“Make Room” invites you to make room in your budgets and on your walls for extraordinary artwork in support of these extraordinary Chicago-based talents. We also bid you “make room“ on our walls so we can continue to support our creative community.

Please join us on Friday, February 13th from 6pm to 10pm for a reception to meet these dynamic artists, view and purchase artwork artwork and enjoy music and beverages. Beats courtesy of DJ Hegemony and a set by Chicago street performer, Sylvie Grace. Guests will be asked to leave a $5 donation at the door.
