Corinne Halbert: “M,” …is for Murder

“M” is an all encompassing narrative installation based on “Murderous Mikee” and his beloved “Minee” whom he beheads over and over and over again. It is a celebration of the over simplified indulgence of a Maniacal, Malevolent Mouse, as told in Corinne Halbert’s visual escapade depicting a fetishized comic book world full of bold black lines and bright, vibrating colors.

Corinne Halbert lives and works in Chicago. She received an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2008) and a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art (2003).
