THIS WEIRD GREY AREA is inspired by and features work from Chad Kouri, made known to us via and co-curated with Johalla Projects.

THIS THURSDAY, October 3rd, from 5PM – 8PM, located in the River North Gallery district. You can pick up a map on the corner of Franklin and Superior.

Open Galleries include Addington, Andrew Bae, Architech, Carl Hammer, Catherine Edelman, David Weinberg Photography, Hilton/Asmus, Jean Albano, Jennifer Norback, Josef Glimer, Judy A Saslow, Ken Saunders, Perimeter, Printworks, Rangefinder, Robert Jendra Studio, Schneider, and Vale Craft. Food and Beverages from Angel’s Envy, Ay! Chiwowa, Clandestino, Havana Bar and Grill, Lagunitas, and Papa Ray’s. Music from Steven Gilpin, Shannon Hayden, Allison Herbert, Nick Lacey, Maurice Malway, Terra, Posedowa, and Jia Senghe. Critical talks will be located at Jean Albano Gallery, first featuring curator Alfredo Salazar-Caro chatting about his current exhibition at Jean’s entitled Technoromanticism, at 6PM, followed by a chat with Maxwell Colette’s director Oliver Hild and Claire Molek at 6:45, about how to price a piece of art. The AFTER PARTY will be located at AY! Chiwowa. Bring a BNAW map and receive a free margarita.

This event is an art crawl, it is free, it is for the people and by the people. We’re thinking about how duality is related to mythology, and really into Chad’s work right now.

Mad love,
The BNAW tribe
