IN SITU examines the artist’s studio as a reflexive subject, contrasting its functional utility with its often-romanticized popular perception. Artwork and installation-based documentation remix multiple environments within a single space, offering an opened-ended view of “location” in response to both material and conceptual production. Artists Kayla Anderson, Greg Bae, Kittisak Chontong, Jase Flannery, Tim Mann, and Elliott Mickleburgh explore the studio as a satellite component of the artist’s practice, a venue for restaging site-specific projects, and a forum for continuous research and experimentation.
