Mar 22nd 2013

A noted writer and illustrator, Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri is the Artistic Director of the Scuola Internazionale di Comics throughout Italy. Serpieri’s love for images of the American West led to him co-creating L’Histoire du Far-West (“The Story of the West”) with writer Raffaele Ambrosioa, a series about the history of the Old West published by Larousse. Visitors of Scuola’s first US location in Chicago will have the opportunity to tour a selection of Serpieri’s original American West-themed drawings on March 22 and after, by appointment.

Serpieri will also be teaching a workshop on drawing horses March 23 and 25. Advanced registration is required.

For more information on the workshop, the exhibit or the school, contact Valeria Fanelli at valeria.fanelli@schoolofcomics.us or 312-265-0982.
