DEFIBRILLATOR performance art gallery is proud to present ALLOWANCES AND OCCURRANCES by Chicago’s acclaimed Zephyr Dance company. An innovative new durational dance installation, ALLOWANCES AND OCCURRANCES will be presented Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, September 14-16 and 21-23, 2012 from 7:00PM-10:00PM at DEFIBRILLATOR, 1136 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago. The performance will run for 3 consecutive hours and allow the audience to come when they wish, stand and/or sit where they wish, and stay for as short or long a period as they wish. The performance will feature Zephyr dance artists, Michelle Kranicke, Andrea Cerniglia and Colleen Welch, along with special guest dancer Ayako Kato. Original music will be played live by Ronnie Kuller, video installations by Rosa Gaia Saunders, costume design by Amanda Lee Franck, and architectural and window installations by David Sundry of O Group, Inc. and Amanda Lee Franck. Requested donation is $10. ALLOWANCES AND OCCURRANCES is a co-production between Zephyr and DEFIBRILLATOR.
